Welcome To The Arramont Community Update For June
Construction at Arramont continues to progress, and we're pleased to share an update with you.
Montbeliard Road
Signal commissioning progresses with Council, who are working to close remaining applications for turn-out signals. We expect this to occur soon and look forward to the intersection becoming fully operational. Thank you for your patience during this time.
The landscape works along the southern section of Montbeliard Rd are well underway and expect completion within the next 3-4 weeks.
Stage 7 Reserve
Public lighting works are now complete. Temporary fencing will remain in place as we work through electrical connection, which should be completed in the next two weeks.
Stage 13 & 14A
Our Contractor has made significant progress with electrical, telecommunication reticulation and concrete works. Due to unfavourable weather, road pavement progress has been slow. However, with a small break in the weather, we hope to bring the pavements to the asphalt layer over the next few days.
Stages 15, 16 & 20
We're pleased to advise that earthworks have commenced on Stages 15 & 16. Stage 20 is scheduled to begin in the next few days, with the necessary fauna surveys and relocations carried out before tree felling.
Stages 17, 18 & 19
Stage 18 functional engineering design is now approved, with Stages 17 & 19 progressing through Council review. Contractor tenders have been released ahead of an anticipated Q3 works commencement.
Community News
We are aware that there is a significant amount of rubbish being dumped illegally within the estate.
We are working with the local authorities to have this cleaned up ASAP and to implement measures to prevent recurrence.
We encourage the Arramont community to continue reporting offenders and dumped rubbish to the Whittlesea Council and appreciate the community's efforts in maintaining the estate's presentation.
